The Alpenroyal deliberately chose a pool with a linear shape so that its guests could have an area in which to enjoy healthy physical exercise. Lake Kurat (110 x 40 metres), which is safe for swimming, also located inside the Grand Parc, is also suitable for guests who love clear, fresh mountain water. It is famous for being one of the largest lakes safe for swimming located within the grounds of a hotel in the Alps.
